Anyone involved in Gaelic - please take note

I am hoping to run a Referee's course after Easter for anyone that is interested - we can not run a coaching course due to child protection guidelines - you must have some form of knowledge of Gaelic (for the reasons listed next) - this course will be linked to your club and you will be required to go back to the clubs to referee as part of the course at underage level. Scrap books

A good few people have emailed me - thanks for that - more still have to email me their work. The work that I have seen (well most of it!!) is very good - excellent in some cases - well done and keep adding to it now as you go along - make your scrap book something that you will be proud of - something to look back on in years to come

Careers talks next week

Celtic trip

A lot of names were given to me - money talks!! remember i mentioned this before Christmas as well!

As I am away all next week examining in other schools - you have 1 week to get a deposit together and we will see how many we have then - there is no point trying to get tickets until I see how many I have (we should have no problem getting tickets!!!)

On Monday the 5th February I will collect 40 POUNDS STERLING (non - refundable if the trip goes ahead - please tell your parents/guardians this)

We will take it from there then

Trips trips trips

Students want more trips... I have not had any ideas put forward to me yet from your classes - the ball is in your court!!! Get this sorted asap - take responsibility and get this done.

We do not want to run out of time!

Celtic trip

Can someone gather a list of names for me - who is interested in going - prob cost in the region of 85 STERLING. This will include match ticket, bus and boat. Good enough deal I think.

Dates for the diary

The next change over module is the week starting 5th March - you will have their 3rd group starting that week.

Bank talks for one double class - 28th Feb - 12-1.20 - N Orla and also 28th Feb - N Odhran 2 - 3.20 

Wednesday 7th March - 2-320 N Oisin

First Aid Training - all day - there is a cost of 10 euro each for this course - the school will be paying money towards it as well.

Good afternoon TY's,

I will be taking 20 TY students to the LYIT on Tuesday 16th for a Business Studies Taster/ Sampling Day. 

We will be leaving at 9.30am and returning at 3.30pm. If you would like to go on this trip please let me know and I will put your name on the list. 

As there is a limited amount of spaces I will only be taking students with a genuine interest in getting the most from the day.
